I am planning to develop a chat service for customer supporting similar to tawk.to.
Would TimescaleDB be a suitable suite for my project?

Yes! as the chat messages are an event driven system, you can benefit from table partition, compression and retention policies and build fast statistics with continuous aggregates. I guess we talked on our Slack right?
