They faced challenges integrating effective analytics with Google Analytics due to its complexity. Humblytics simplifies this by authenticating SSL through Webflow, enabling automatic script installation and instant event tracking like form submissions and clicks. This solution aims to provide Webflow users with an easy-to-use analytics platform, reducing the technical hurdles associated with traditional tools.
The founders of Humblytics had limited experience with handling large-scale data and lacked the budget to hire data engineers. Traditional analytics tools were too complex and resource-intensive, making it difficult to manage overwhelming data and setup processes. Their primary goal was to ensure platform reliability and scalability, particularly during periods of high traffic. They required a managed service to avoid the manual maintenance of AWS and to maintain high reliability to prevent system downtime and data loss, which could erode user trust.
Timescale provided Humblytics with a user-friendly and cost-effective solution for their database needs. The platform's managed service eliminated the need for an AWS account solely for database setup. Features like data compression and aggregates helped reduce storage costs and streamline data management by summarizing data for quicker querying. Timescale’s capabilities, including read scaling, high availability, and data tiering, ensured seamless performance even during rapid growth. This allowed Humblytics to maintain uninterrupted service and focus on enhancing their product, providing a robust and efficient analytics tool for their users.
