Sales Operations Lead

We’re looking for our first Head or Lead of Sales Operations, someone who thrives on both strategy and details. Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll play a pivotal role in building and optimizing the foundations of our sales organization. This role is ideal for someone who wants to roll up their sleeves, dig into data and systems, and creatively solve the challenges of scaling a modern sales team.

You’ll collaborate closely with our leadership team, and your work will have a direct impact on how we align our PLG roots with a growing sales motion. It’s a unique chance to help build the next great database company. 

What You’ll Do:

• Take ownership of our sales tech stack, especially Salesforce, to streamline workflows, ensure data quality, and empower our sales team.

• Develop and implement creative, scalable commission structures and territory designs aligned with our consumption-based pricing model.

• Create frameworks to measure pipeline health, SDR impact, and overall sales team performance.

• Work closely with the CFO and other executives to analyze trends, provide insights, and shape the growth strategy of our sales organization.

• Establish and refine processes that enable the sales team to scale efficiently while staying hands-on and involved in the details.

You could be a great fit if: 

• You have 8+ years of experience in sales operations, ideally in a developer tools or database company.

• You deeply understand the nuances of PLG and consumption-based models.

• You’re experienced in Salesforce and capable of optimizing systems to drive data-driven decisions.

• You love diving into data, spotting trends, and thinking outside the box to develop innovative solutions.

• You can operate at both 30,000 feet and ground level, with the ability to build and execute.

• You excel at working across teams, translating data and strategy into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.

You might not be a great fit if: 

• You are accustomed to defining ideas and strategies yet not responsible for their execution. 

• You aren't comfortable with a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities can shift quickly. 

• You prefer a highly structured role with clearly defined tasks and responsibilities.
