Senior Partner Marketing Manager

Marketing

At Timescale, we empower businesses with real-time insights from their data, allowing them to make faster decisions and optimize operations. We are creating a movement to unblock developers who are building the future. Timescale is a product-led growth organization driven by transparent leaders and a globally diverse, remote-first team that is proudly building a modern PostgreSQL cloud platform.

As a Senior/Lead Partner Marketing Manager, you'll be instrumental in driving new partner acquisition, co-marketing with channel and technology partners, and contributing to partner-specific go-to-market strategies. You will build and manage the partner marketing program, defining repeatable programs for existing and prospective partners to market with and through Timescale.

The ideal candidate is data-driven and has a track record of working with partners to build strategic marketing campaigns that drive measurable pipelines. You are someone who enjoys and thrives working cross-functionally and managing multiple stakeholder goals towards a common objective. You also have experience with developer marketing and product-led growth.

This role is remote, with a location anywhere in the United States. English language fluency is a requirement. Up to 15% travel is required, with frequent domestic travel and occasional international travel.

What you will be responsible for in this role:

  • Partner Acquisition & Enablement:

    • Develop our partner ecosystem of cloud, technology, consulting, and reseller partners in conjunction with GTM teams.

    • Nurture relationships with marketing teams within partner organizations to influence Timescale inclusion in partner campaigns.

    • Collaborate with sales enablement to equip partners with the tools to effectively sell the value of Timescale.

  • Campaign Development:

    • Define the overall strategy for how we market with, through and about partners to drive pipeline growth.

    • Develop and manage comprehensive co-marketing strategies, including campaigns, roundtables, digital marketing, and events to maximize brand awareness and lead generation.

    • Create tailored content and translate core messaging into partner-specific assets to support their go-to-market efforts and activations.

    • Identify opportunities to include partners into existing Timescale initiatives such as campaigns, events, website, workshops, and product roadmap.

  • Program Development:

    • Maintain the virtual properties for partners to engage with Timescale, including a public-facing partner webpage and a private partner portal.

    • Track how partner leads progress through the self-service and sales funnel, and work with partners and internal teams to improve lead conversion.

    • Manage a budget, including MDF, and assess the effectiveness of partner marketing programs and campaigns, regularly sharing insights and areas of optimization.

You could be a great fit if you have:

  • 4+ years of partner marketing experience with a track record of executing high-growth partner programs.

  • An understanding of a broad range of marketing activities, including field marketing, digital marketing, marketing operations, and events for technical products.

  • A proven track record of working cross-functionally with internal and external teams.

  • Strong project management abilities and confidence in operating cross-functionally.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to describe complex products.

  • Familiarity with the database space.

You might not be a great fit if:

  • You are located outside of the United States of America

  • You lack experience working with technical products

  • You prefer a highly structured role with clearly defined tasks and responsibilities.

  • You are accustomed to defining ideas and strategies yet not responsible for their execution.

Our Commitment:

  • We will respond to all applicants

  • We strive to review all applications fairly, without bias, and shortlist based on relevant skills and experience.

  • All active candidates will be informed of what is happening next in the process.
