Over 1 million downloads, 15 releases including 1.0, production deployments worldwide, the launch of the TSBS, and the release of the Timescale License

Today, we are announcing that we have started developing new open-code (or source-available) features that will be made available under the (also new) Timescale License (TSL). You will be able to follow the development of these features on our GitHub.

Since announcing our first release candidate in September, Timescale’s engineering team has merged over 50 PRs to harden the database, improving stability and ease-of-use.

Humanity is now living with machines and swimming in machine data. Timescale just raised $16M to help developers, businesses, and society make sense of it all.

As we head into the new year, we’d like to take a moment to reflect on 2017 and thank everyone who has helped us along the way. So, to our users, developers, community members (especially those of you active in our Slack channel), investors, partners, and all our other cheerleaders: Thank You.
